Tuscany

Cypress avenues and golden hills Scroll Nº 06 of 11

A villa among the olives, Val d'Orcia

Tuscany is the landscape that invented the idea of the picturesque — and it has not rested since. Cypress avenues, silver olive groves, villas the colour of afternoon light: a wedding here feels less hosted than inherited, as if the hills had always been waiting for your guests.

We work with family-owned estates in Chianti and the Val d'Orcia, where the same hands that press the olive oil set your tables. It is a generous, grounded luxury — long tables in the olive grove, wine from the vineyard you can see, and evenings that smell of rosemary and woodsmoke.

Tuscany's luxury is abundance without display — the best of everything, grown within sight of your table.

Signature Experiences

What a celebration here can hold

Dinner in the Olive Grove

A hundred metres of table running between the olive trees, lit by candles in glass and the last of the sun — the estate's oil, wine and produce, course upon course.

The Cypress Aisle

A ceremony at the end of a cypress avenue, the Val d'Orcia unrolling behind the vows — no arch required; the landscape provides.

Harvest Weekend

In September, guests join the vendemmia — picking grapes at dawn, lunch in the vines, and the first pressing tasted at dinner that night.

The Piazetta Party

A welcome evening in a medieval borgo's tiny square — wood-fired pizza, local wine in tumblers, festoon lights, and the whole hamlet as your drawing room.

Character & Light

The light here does the decorating

Tuscan light is famously golden, but its secret is the mornings: mist in the valleys, the hills emerging one by one. Ceremonies belong to the late afternoon, when the sun rakes across the groves and every olive leaf turns silver-green.

Seasonal notes — May and June are green and poppy-strewn. July and August are hot and festive — dinners move late, under stars. September and October are harvest: the most beautiful, and the most delicious, weeks of the year.

The Shape of a Weekend

A celebration in three acts

The First Evening

The Borgo Welcome

The estate's piazza strung with lights — pizza from the wood oven, Chianti in tumblers, and dancing before the weekend has properly begun.

The Wedding Day

Avenue, Grove, Stars

Vows beneath the cypresses at golden hour, dinner in the olive grove, and a dance floor under the pergola until the mist rises.

The Day After

The Harvest Table

A recovery lunch in the vines — porchetta, pecorino, and the first of the new wine, poured generously.
