Lake Como
Villa del Balbianello, Lenno — early morning
There is a particular hour on Lake Como — just before dinner, when the water goes the colour of old silver and the gardens of the great villas begin to glow from within — when a wedding here stops feeling like an event and becomes something closer to a painting you are allowed to live inside.
We have produced celebrations in the lake's most storied houses for over a decade: ceremonies on terraces that Napoleon once walked, dinners in frescoed salotti, dancing on piers lit by storm lanterns. Como rewards ceremony. It asks for long tables, longer toasts, and a little opera in the dark.

A Private Palazzo Dinner on the Lake
A candlelit dinner in a frescoed piano nobile, the windows open to the water, a string quartet on the staircase and course after course of Lombard cooking, served as the ferries stop running and the lake becomes entirely yours.
Arrival by Mahogany Launch
Your guests cross the water at golden hour in a fleet of polished Riva boats, prosecco in hand, stepping ashore to a garden lit with a thousand candles — an arrival no one in attendance will ever forget.
A Ceremony Among the Cypresses
Vows exchanged on a stone terrace above the lake, framed by cypress and azalea, with a single violin carrying across the water to the villages opposite.
The Morning-After Sail
A slow, sunlit cruise to Bellagio the morning after — bellinis, fresh cornetti, and the quiet euphoria of the day after the day.
Character & Light
The light here does the decorating
Como's light is reflected light — bounced off water, softened by mountains, filtered through cypress. Mornings are pearl-grey and private; evenings are amber and theatrical. We time ceremonies for the hour the lake turns to glass.
Seasonal notes — May brings wisteria and quiet water. June and July are lush and high-spirited. September — our most requested month — gives you warm days, cool nights and the softest light of the year. The lake rests from November to March, and so do we.

A celebration in three acts
A Welcome in the Garden
Guests arrive by boat to a pergola heavy with wisteria. Negronis, lake fish, and a long, unhurried dinner under plane trees as the mountains darken.
The Terrace and the Salone
A late-afternoon ceremony above the water, dinner in a frescoed hall lit only by candle and chandelier, and dancing on the pier until the last ferry is long asleep.
Bellagio, Slowly
A farewell brunch on the water — a fleet of launches, a floating prosecco bar, and the soft landing every great celebration deserves.
