The Amalfi Coast
Positano, cascades of bougainvillea
The Amalfi Coast is a vertical world — staircases instead of streets, gardens instead of fields, and a sea that is always somehow below you, glittering. A wedding here is built on terraces: one for the ceremony, one for the aperitivo, one for dinner, each with the same impossible view and its own light.
We work in Ravello's hanging gardens and Positano's private villas, where the day's design is dictated by sun and staircase. It is a coast that rewards restraint — white linen, lemons, local ceramics — and punishes nothing so much as hurry.
Where we work here — Hanging gardens of Ravello · Private cliff villas · Saracen towers · Lemon grove terraces
On this coast, the view is the architecture. Our job is to frame it, feed it, and get out of its way.
Signature Experiences
What a celebration here can hold
A Ceremony in a Hanging Garden
Vows in a Ravello garden suspended three hundred metres above the sea, with only cypress, umbrella pines and the entire coastline as witnesses.
The Lemon Grove Dinner
A single long table beneath a pergola of lemons, lit by candles in glass and strings of warm bulbs — sfogliatelle, local wine, and the scent of the grove all around.
Positano by Night, by Sea
After dinner, guests board wooden gozzi and see the town from the water — a pyramid of light rising from the sea — before a nightcap on a private jetty.
Ceramics & Limoncello
A welcome afternoon in Vietri or a private limoncello-making atelier for guests — the coast's crafts, turned into the weekend's keepsakes.
Character & Light
The light here does the decorating
Amalfi's light is vertical and theatrical: hard white noon, then a long golden slide into a violet dusk over the Tyrrhenian. In Ravello, high above the sea, the light lingers — ceremonies there can begin at six and still be bathed in gold.
Seasonal notes — May and June are fragrant — jasmine and lemon blossom together. July and August are glorious but busy; we take the coast privately, early and late. September and early October are, in our judgement, perfection.
Positano, from above
The Shape of a Weekend
A celebration in three acts
Aperitivo Above the Sea
A standing welcome on a cliff terrace — spritzes, crudo, and the sunset doing all the decorating.
Garden, Terrace, Stars
A golden-hour ceremony in the garden, dinner on a terrace of local ceramics and candlelight, and a band playing tarantella until the small hours.
The Sea Day
A private flotilla to a cove reachable only by water — swimming, lunch at a beachside table, and the slowest afternoon of the year.
